RS Cryonics – Our Services

Preservation Services

We offer two primary forms of cryopreservation. Both utilize the same advanced vitrification technology to secure your biological future.

Whole-Body Preservation

Whole-Body Preservation is the cryopreservation of the entire biological organism. This option is chosen by members who wish to keep their entire body intact, preserving not just the brain (the seat of memory and personality) but also the rest of the physical form.

Upon legal death, our standby team immediately begins cardiopulmonary support and cooling. The blood is replaced with a cryoprotectant solution (M22) to prevent ice formation. The patient is then cooled to -196°C and stored in a vacuum-insulated liquid nitrogen dewar.

*Ideal for those who believe future medicine will be able to rejuvenate the entire body rather than regenerate a new one.

Neuropreservation

Neuropreservation focuses specifically on the preservation of the brain within the cephalon (head). This approach is based on the scientific consensus that your identity, memories, and personality reside within the physical structure of the brain (the connectome).

This procedure allows for a faster and more optimized vitrification of the brain tissue compared to whole-body perfusion. It relies on the expectation that future medical technology capable of reviving a cryopreserved brain will also be capable of regenerating a new body or providing a synthetic interface.

*A more affordable and logistically optimized option that prioritizes the preservation of the mind.
